New international trailer has debuted for Nymphomaniac: Volume II, the second half of Lars von Trier‘s two-part sexual drama, which picks up with the story of Joe’s adulthood.
The first part, Nymphomaniac: Vol. I, premiered recently at Sundance and also hit theaters on Christmas Day in Denmark and will play at the Berlin Film Festival next.
It will be available on VOD beginning March 6th, 2014 and will arrive in theaters on March 21st, 2014. However, we’ll have to wait until April 3rd, 2014 to watch Part Two on VOD. It will open theatrically on April 18th, 2014.
The film stars Shia LaBeouf, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stellan Skarsgard, Jamie Bell, Uma Thurman, Stacy Martin, Connie Nielsen, Christian Slater, Willem Dafoe, Mia Goth, Nicolas Bro, Sophie Kennedy Clark, Jens Albinus, and Udo Kier.
While there’s no sex or nudity in this trailer, there’s still plenty of the weirdness that we have come to love from Danish provocateur. Moreover, ‘Burning Down the House’ by the Talking Heads might be reason enough to check out this one.
