Josh Brolin rocks in the first red band trailer for
Spike Lee‘s upcoming
Oldboy! Just like in that
great-looking poster from the other day: ask
not why you were imprisoned – ask why you were set free. I must admit that this creepy tagline freaks me out, but hey – the whole thing definitely looks promising, so you just have to check it out!
As you're about to see in this video, this fall – nothing is more twisted than the truth. That's exactly the thing with Lee's provocative, visceral thriller which is set to hit theaters on October 25th, 2013.
In case you forgot, the movie is a remake of the 2003 South Korean film of the same name that revolves around an advertising executive named Joe Doucett, who is kidnapped and held prisoner for twenty years in solitary confinement.
And the rest of the story goes like this:
When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment.
Beside Brolin, the rest of
Oldboy cast includes
Elizabeth Olsen,
Sharlto Copley,
James Ransone and
Samuel L. Jackson.
