Orci and Kurtzman Not Returning To Write Transformers 3
Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman (The Island, The Legend of Zorro, Mission: Impossible III), after writing the first two, will not be returning to the script duties for “Transformers 3.”
Orci made a post on the Don Murphy forum saying he and Kurtzman won’t be involved with the third film. That means that Ehren Kruger (Scream 3, The Ring, The Ring Two, The Brothers Grimm), who also worked on the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen script, will be going it alone on part three, laboring under the iron fist of director Michael Bay.
Orci wrote,
“He (Ehren Kruger) really did his homework. He’s awesome.”Director Michael Bay recently confirmed that plans were in motion for a Transformers 3 and that he and actress Megan Fox would be returning.
