As we promised, we’re definitely keeping an eye on the upcoming Tony Gilroy‘s The Bourne Legacy project.
You all know that Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton are already on board to star in the whole thing, but it looks that one great guy is about to join them!
So here we are for a little update! According to the latest reports, Sucker Punch star Oscar Isaac has joined the cast as well!
And although we still have no plot details, we learned that Isaac will play “Number 3”, another brainwashed assassin in the film.
As you already guess, we’re talking about the major role. Well, this definitely sounds great, and we’re happy to hear that Isaac will be the part of a group that is “even more dangerous than Treadstone.”
Still, let us once again mention that Jason Bourne will not be featured in the film, and as for the rest of the cast, Jeremy Renner is set to play another assassin trained in the same program that Bourne was trained in, while Rachel Weisz as the love interest.
The Bourne Legacy is set to hit the theaters on August 10th, 2012. Stay tuned for more updates on this one!
