PACIFIC RIM Banner and Featurette: Oversized Robot Set
Warner Bros. has released a new banner and featurette for Pacific Rim. This robot vs monster sci-fi epic is set to blow any comparisons with the giant metal fest that you may know as the Transformers franchise out of the water.
The film stars Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, Brad William Henke, Burn Gorman, Clifton Collins Jr., Diego Klattenhoff, Heather Doerksen, Jake Goodman, Larry Joe Campbell, Max Martini, Robert Kazinsky, Robert Maillet, and Ron Perlman.
Guillermo del Toro (The Devil’s Backbone, Pan’s Labyrinth, Cronos, Hellboy) directs from a screenplay by Travis Beacham.
Pacific Rim will be released July 12th, 2013.

But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past.
