Charlie Hunnam looking awesome in a brand new Pacific Rim photo! That's probably the best description of the latest image from Guillermo del Toro‘s summer action-thriller where Hunnam plays a former pilot named Raleigh Becket. He's like a solid guy, made of good stuff, you know – says Hunnam. We agree!
Del Toro directs the movie from a script he co-wrote with Travis Beacham and as you already know, beside great Hunnam, the rest of the cast includes Idris Elba, Ron Perlman, Charlie Day, Rinko Kikuchi, Diego Klattenhoff, Burn Gorman and Robert Kazinsky.
Still, Hunnam is our hero – he, together with Kikuchi's untested trainee controls the American jaeger Gypsy Danger, one of several gigantic robots who do battle with the Kaiju monsters who have been destroying the Earth for 15 years. Together, they must stand as the human race's last hope against the mounting apocalypse.
