Directed by Thor Freudenthal, and starring Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Alexandra Daddario, Douglas Smith, Mary Birdsong, Yvette Nicole Brown, Missi Pyle, Nathan Fillion (and more), Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters is set to hit theaters on August 7th, 2013.
As we previously reported, the movie is based on the Rick Riordan novel of the same name and continues the young demigod's epic journey to fulfill his destiny.
This time Percy and his friends must find the magical Golden Fleece at the titular Sea of Monsters and battle some terrifying creatures, zombies and the ultimate Evil!
All that because they want to save an ailing magical tree that protects their home from foes.
