Here's the latest (international) trailer and the very first clip from the upcoming crime thriller Prisoners, which is set to hit theaters next month. As you already know, we're talking about Denis Villeneuve‘s latest flick which stars Hugh Jackman as a desperate father who will do whatever it takes to find his missing child. How far will he go to protect his family? Head inside to find that out.
Beside Jackman, who plays that Dover guy, the movie also stars Jake Gyllenhaal as a young, brash detective Loki, who is in charge of the investigation.
And here's the rest of the story:
The only lead is a dilapidated RV that had been parked on their street. Heading the investigation, Detective Loki arrests its driver, but a lack of evidence forces the only suspect's release. Knowing his child's life is at stake, the frantic Dover decides he has no choice but to take matters into his own hands. The desperate father will do whatever it takes to find the girls, but in doing so, may lose himself, begging the question: When do you cross the line between seeking justice and becoming a vigilante?
Also starring Maria Bello, Terrence Howard, Viola Davis, Melissa Leo and Paul Dano, Prisoners opens on September 20th, 2013.
