Rich Moore‘s animation comedy centers on the bad guy Ralph (you know, he's not bad, it's just that his job is to be bad, so that Fix-It Felix could jump in and steal all the good-guy glory) who, after decades doing the same thing decides he's sick and tired of playing the role of a bad guy.
So, he takes matters into his own massive hands and sets off on a game-hopping journey across the arcade through every generation of video games to prove he's got what it takes to be a hero.
On his quest, he meets the tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (from the action game Hero's Duty) and Vanellope von Schweetz (from the candy-coated cart racing game Sugar Rush).
Vanellope's world is threatened when Ralph accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens the entire arcade.
Will Ralph realize his dream and save the day before it's too late? Go Ralph!
The voice-cast includes John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, Alan Tudyk, Ed O'Neill, Mindy Kaling, and Adam Carolla.
