Richard Gere Joins Arbitrage
Richard Gere will replace Al Pacino in an upcoming Nicholas Jarecki's debut feature film titled Arbitrage.
Well, actually, that's the latest rumor when it comes to this movie, but I'm sure you all remember that back in November we had a little report about the whole thing, and that Pacino was back then attached to star as the lead.
Nicholas Jarecki penned the script that will center on “a hedge-fund magnate who struggles to complete the sale of his trading business to a big bank before the level of fraud is exposed.
Aside from a shady business, the hedge fund guy juggles a wife and an art dealer mistress as well as rivals who want to bring him down.”
According to Deadline, now Gere will play that “trouble hedge fund magnate” and as we previously learned the movie also stars Susan Sarandon and Eva Green.
Sarandon will play Gere's wife, while Green will star as “an art dealer mistress”.
Shooting is scheduled to begin mid-April in New York.
