Things are getting serious with DreamWorks’ upcoming sci-fi thriller Glimmer! We’ve just learned that Ringan Ledwidge will be in charge for the whole thing. He comes on board to direct the whole thing from a script written by Carter Blanchard, and the good thing is that production is already set to start in the first half of 2013. Check out the rest of this report to read more details…
So, Blanchard is responsible for the script which will center on a group of teens who discover a portal to the past. When one of them changes history, the effects start to snowball with tragic consequences.
Sounds familiar? Well, of course it does, we already had a chance to watch a few films with similar elements, like Fox’s Chronicle and Warner Bros. Project X.
It would be interesting to see who would come on board to play those teens in Glimmer, I’m sure you’ll agree.
Mark Sourian and Adam Kolbrenner are producing the project for DreamWorks, shooting starts soon, so don’t worry – we’ll keep you updated!
