Based on a book ‘Killing Kennedy: The End of Camelot', written by Fox News commentator Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard, the movie begins in 1959 and follows the paths of Kennedy, a member of one of the United States' most wealthy and powerful families, and his assassin Lee Harvey Oswald – a disillusioned former Marine and Marxist – until they collide in Dallas four years later.
Nelson McCormick will direct the movie which also stars
Michelle Trachtenberg as Oswald's Soviet-born wife, Marina Oswald, and
Ginnifer Goodwin as former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy. The actor who will portray Oswald will be cast within the next two weeks.
Production on Killing Kennedy will begin in June in Richmond, Va., and is expected to air close to the 50th anniversary of JFK's assassination on Nov. 22.
