
In a viral campaign likely to expand over the arrival of this week's San Diego Comic-Con,
Columbia Pictures and MGM have readied a first look at the robotic ED-209 design from their upcoming reboot of
RoboCop.
Jose Padilha‘s upcoming remake will star
Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson and
Hugh Laurie as the villain and CEO of OmniCorp. The ultra-violent dystopian sci-fi film is set for February 7th, 2014. Obviously, production is set to begin soon.
The video below seems developing ED and RoboCop as set of complimentary technology, rather than competing interests — a bit different from what we saw in the
Paul Verhoeven's 1987 classic.
