When I say Red Lights, the first association is…? No, not Amsterdam! Think again! Robert De Niro maybe?
Ok, now we’re talking about some serious project, and trust me, thanks to Buried director Rodrigo Cortes, we’ll soon have a chance to see something great. And not just because amazing De Niro is involved in the whole thing.
This supernatural thriller definitely has great cast on board, and when you check out the first trailer (count that as teaser), you’ll see what I’m talking about.
As usual, when you have some serious actors on board, you don’t need some bombastic trailer. If you make it simple and mysterious, that’s enough. After all, they’re not vampires! Even worse, they are psycho maniacs!
So, no wonder that we have description that goes like this: “No matter what you think you know…no matter what you believe in…the truth is the most dangerous illusion of all.”
Actually, Sigourney Weaver stars as a psychologist investigating paranormal activity and the possibility that a famous psychic (Robert De Niro) is in fact a fraud. That’s basically all we know about this movie at this moment.
The rest of the cast includes Elizabeth Olsen and Cillian Murphy.
Red Lights is eyeing a 2012 release, and I can’t wait to see this.
