Ron Howard’s RUSH Poster, 8 Photos and Release Date!
Universal has released 8 new photos, poster and set a release date for Ron Howard‘s Formula 1 movie Rush. The photos feature Chris Hemsworth as the charismatic English Formula One driver James Hunt and Daniel Bruhl as Austrian star racer Niki Lauda.
Rush is set in 1976, and co-stars Olivia Wilde, Jessica Chastain and The Tudors’ Natalie Dormer is written by biopic screenwriter extraordinaire Peter Morgan, who wrote such films as The Queen and Frost/Nixon, and co-wrote the upcoming Bond film Skyfall.
Universal Pictures’ Rush is slated for a September 20th, 2013 release.
Set against the sexy, glamorous and spectacular golden age of Formula 1 racing, “Rush” portrays the exhilarating true story of two of the greatest rivals the world has ever witnessed – handsome English playboy James Hunt (Hemsworth) and his methodical, brilliant opponent, Niki Lauda (Bruhl). Following their personal lives on and off the track, Rush follows the two drivers as they push themselves to the breaking point of physical and psychological endurance, where there is no shortcut to victory and no margin for error. If you make one mistake, you die.
