Ed Harris

Why not? We’ve just learned that Ed Harris is in some serious talks to join Jaume Collet-Serra‘s upcoming Run All Night, which (just in case you forgot) already stars Liam Neeson and Joel Kinnaman. That’s what we call an awesome cast for (yet) another crime thriller which follows an aging hitman who takes on his former boss to protect his wife and son.

And, as you already guess, if negotiations with Harris work out – he would come on board to play Neeson’s former boss – the leader of a prominent criminal organization in Philadelphia.

Or, as TheWrap reports, Harris should play the syndicate’s violent leader, who wants revenge for the death of his son.

As we previously informed you, Neeson is already set to play a mob hitman who, in a single night, is forced to take on his former boss. He has to protect his son and family, and winds up on the run from the mob and the authorities with his estranged son, played by Kinnaman.

Unfortunately, that’s basically all we know about Run All Night at this moment. Let us also add that Collet-Serra will direct the whole thing from a script written by Brad Ingelsby, and that production will start this fall.

Guess we’ll soon have more updates to share, make sure you stay tuned!
