Nick Martin February 11, 2013 Add a Comment
Sandra Bullock - Minions Sandra Bullock, who has made a career out of being Hollywood's good girl, has been set to provide the supervillain voice in Minions, the Illumination Entertainment spinoff of the Despicable Me franchise. The Oscar-winning actress will voice Scarlet Overkill, a woman with an ambition for world domination. Set in the 1960s, the 3D-CG comedy Minions has three of the creatures going to a villain convention to find a new master, and compete to get the job from Overkill, an Aubrey Hepburn-inspired character who aspires to be the world's first female supervillain. Bullock is the only actor attached to voice the film that will be directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda from the script written by Brian Lynch. The little yellow, pill-shaped, trash-speaking Minions will next be seen in this summer's Despicable Me 2, out July 3rd, 2013, while their own film Minions, is due out in 3D on December 19th, 2014. As for Bullock, she next stars with Melissa McCarthy in the Paul Feig-directed R-rated action-comedy The Heat, out June 28th, and then the Alfonso Cuaron-directed Gravity, which has finally scored an October 4th, 2013. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_hUTlVjO1I&feature=player_embedded Source: Deadline
