Take Another Look At SCENIC ROUTE, Starring Josh Duhamel & Dan Fogler
Are we all interested in the upcoming Scenic Route movie because: a) Josh Duhamel has one of the weirdest hairstyles ever, b) Dan Fogler stars in the whole thing, c) we saw the official trailer and we like this (pretty creepy & bloody) story? I will first remind you that this drama (horror?) thriller comes from directors Kevin Goetz and Michael Goetz, and revolves around Mitchell and Carter, two old friends whose relationship is tested as they are stranded in the desert.
Nobody can pick apart a man like his best friend, and as the relentless elements of the desert grind them down, they start to attack each other’s life decisions with unwavering brutality. As they question who they are and who they could have been, their agitation leads to physical confrontation and ultimately knife-wielding madness, and what begins as an inconvenience becomes a very real life or death struggle.Huh, say what you want – but this definitely looks promising! Scenic Route is set to hit theaters on August 23rd, 2013 (also available on VOD July 26th, 2013, and on DVD September 24th, 2013.)
