Schwarzenegger Returns For THE EXPENDABLES 3
Arnold Schwarzenegger has confirmed that he will reprise his role as Trench in The Expendables 3, just one day after confirming he’s returning for Terminator 5.
According to the Schwarzenegger fan site TheArnoldFans, the news comes directly from the sequel-friendly Arnold.
The site’s reporter is attending the 21st Century Financial Education Summit with Schwarzenegger (which is currently being held in Australia) and says:
Not only did Arnold confirm to TheArnoldFans that he will be in Expendables 3, he added that he’s going to start filming in August in Los Angeles!Terminator 5 comes first though, with an early 2014 start date confirmed, while Lionsgate has a set an August 15th, 2014 release date for the next installment of Sylvester Stallone‘s action trilogy. The Expendables 3, which will again star Stallone and Schwarzenegger has Jackie Chan, Wesley Snipes, Nicolas Cage and Milla Jovovich in advanced negotiations to join cast of veteran action stars such as Mickey Rourke, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews and, if the rumour is on the money, Mel Gibson. Schwarzenegger’s role in the third film would be quite large, considering ‘making movies’ is his full-time vocation again; former California Governor had a cameo role in the original Expendables film, but volunteered to play a bigger role in last year’s Expendables 2.
