The first trailer and four photos promoting Sherlock Holmes 2: A Game of Shadows, which is set for release on December 25, have arrived.
The upcoming sequel stars Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Noomi Rapace, Jared Harris, Eddie Marsan, Stephen Fry and Gilles Lellouche.
In Sherlock Holmes 2 the story follows Holmes, and his longtime trusted associate, Dr. Watson, as they match wits with their arch-nemesis, the criminal genius Moriarty (Harris). Rapace plays the rifle-toting gypsy Sim and Stephen Fry (V for Vendetta) stars as Sherlock's brother Mycroft Holmes.

I am going to see this solely because Jared Harris is in it. If anyone can do a decent criminal mastermind/serial killer Moriarty it’s him. He was terrific on Fringe as David Robert Jones. Liked the first one well enough, but it could have been better.
