Fingers crossed for Joon-Ho Bong‘s upcoming Snowpiercer movie! Yes, this means we’re definitely interested in this great-looking sci-fi thriller which has an awesome (and once again: awesome) cast on board. We will once again remind you that Joon-ho Bong directs the movie from a script he co-wrote with Kelly Masterson, which:
…is set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snow Piercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews.
As for the above mentioned awesome cast, it includes Chris Evans, Song Kangho, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, Ewen Brewmner, Alison Pill, John Hurt and Ed Harris.
The Weinstein Company will release the film this year, although an exact date hasn’t been set yet. But you have nothing to worry about – with every new update – we’ll be back.
