If there's anything good about the upcoming Machete Kills sequel guys (and I mean – guys!) – it's that the female cast is going to be awesome this time!
Here comes the news: Sofia Vergara has joined the cast of Robert Rodriguez' next movie, which already includes Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, Michelle Rodriguez, Danny Trejo, Mel Gibson and Demian Bichir!
Another good thing is that Vergara comes on board to play the leather-clad Madame Desdemona, whose Mexican harlots have information that Machete needs. Ok, that leather thing is enough for us, we're interested!
As we previously reported, Machete Kills picks back up with Trejo's ex-federale character, who's been recruited by the U.S. government for a very special mission – to prevent global war by taking down a terrorist named Mendez the Madman, and a sinister billionaire arms leader named Luther Voz who plots to create worldwide anarchy by launching a missile.
Production starts this month in Texas, so make sure you stay tuned.
