TJ White, CEO of T-Minus Productions, has attached
Nick Jacobs to direct the film
Company Man, a project Jacobs also penned. This marks the second collaboration between Jacobs and the film company, as they are in active development on Fight Schlub, a romantic comedy set in the world of MMA (mixed martial arts.)
Company Man is a comedy about two rival office slackers forced to work together to outsmart a corporate efficiency expert before the two men are found out and fired — problem is, the person on their trail is a beautiful woman that one of them falls for.
Jacobs received his MFA in film directing from UCLA and has recently completed his first novel, a dark comedy in the vein of One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest. He also served as a staff writer and story editor for the action Sci-Fi TV series The Lost World and has written for a number of different companies including Film Engine (The Butterfly Effect) and the Discovery Channel. Jacobs says he is thrilled that T-Minus will be making his script.
White is set to produce the film through T-Minus Productions. He Co-Produced The Hard Easy and made his mark on Hollywood as a Stunt Man, Stunt Coordinator and 2nd Unit Director on films (Live Free or Die Hard, 8-Mile, Semi-Pro, Guess Who?) and larger music videos (Velvet Revolver, N’ Sync, Dr. Dre, Bon Jovi, P-Diddy, Avril Lavigne.)
T-Minus Productions is a full service film and television production company based in Los Angeles, CA. T-Minus started designing and producing high concept stunt scenes for film, TV, commercials and music videos. Over the years it has grown into an independent production company that acquires, develops and produces film and TV projects. The company is in active development on Fight Schlub and Retribution, a gritty crime thriller.
