Some stunning new trailer from the upcoming Batman trilogy-ending film The Dark Knight Rises aired during the MTV Movie Awards. The intense video of the Batman story shows the villain Bane, played by Tom Hardy (Inception), announcing through his gas mask, “Let the games begin,” as all the bridges of Manhattan begin to collapse.
The one-and-a-half minutes of trailer showcase the new Batmobiles and Catwoman played by Anne Hathaway, who ends the clip with the line, “You should be as afraid of him as I am.”
The film, directed by Christopher Nolan, also stars Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Liam Neeson, Marion Cotillard, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine.
The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer.
