THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Trailer #3

The Dark Knight Rises Warner Bros. Pictures has debuted the third full length trailer for The Dark Knight Rises, the summer blockbuster starring Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Hardy, Gary Oldman, Michael Caine, Marion Cotillard and Morgan Freeman. This latest trailer, courtesy of Nokia, offers plenty of exciting new footage, with the evil Bane (Hardy) learning Batman's (Bale) true identity. Damn, they still don't give too much time to the Catwoman in the trailers, and it makes me really anxious to see how Anne Hathaway will play it out. I love her as an actress, but she seems more princess-y type than the playful-badass-y kitty. I'd love to be surprised and proved wrong in that matter! Yeah, I am THAT big a fan of superheroes, especially with this new trend of bringing strong women as something more of a character than a simple love interest for the main guy. You just keep on with it, filmmakers. The conclusion of Christopher Nolan's epic Batman trilogy is based on a screenplay he co-penned with Jonathan Nolan (working from a story co-conceived by Davis S. Goyer). The Dark Knight Rises is slated to hit the big screen on July 20th, 2012. Watch the video below and let us know what you think in the comments.
