IGN has debuted the trailer for horror thriller “The Descent: Part 2”
“The Descent: Part 2” picks up immediately after the events depicted in “The Descent” Sarah (Shauna MacDonald), emerges alone from a cave system following an expedition with her five friends in the Appalachian mountains. Distraught, injured and covered in the blood of her missing companions, Sarah is incoherent and half-wild with fear. Skeptical about her account of events and convinced Sarah's psychosis hides far darker secrets, Sheriff Vaines forces her back into the caves to help locate the rest of the group. Trapped by falling rocks, the rescue party are driven deep into the caverns, and as one by one the fate of the missing girls is revealed, Sarah is forced to confront her deepest fears.
The film will be directed by Jon Harris (film editor on “Snatch”, ” Stardust” and “Kick-Ass”) in his directorial debut. He was an editor for “The Descent,” which was directed by Neil Marshall. Marshall is now the executive producer of “The Descent: Part 2”.
Starring Shauna Macdonald (The Descent, The Mutant Chronicles), Natalie Jackson Mendoza (Surviving Evil, Hotel Babylon), Gavan O'Herlihy (Seven Days of Grace) and Krysten Cummings.
Lionsgate is distributing, but has not set a release date yet.

wew, i like horror film just like this
I’d be real happy, If sarah survived, I can’t wait to see this sequel, but why the fuck and how the fuck did Juno survive
i saw the first movie and really liked it. I love horror movies, especially japanese horror, usually more scary … lol …
but this movie appears to me .. i hope part2 is just as good … maybe juno survived because she pretended to be one of them or killed as many of them and they feared her ..lol ..
maybe sarah should die in this part2?! :LOL
