Upcoming indie comedy “The Duel” is produced by Justin Matthews and Luke Spencer Roberts where Dylan Sprouse and Callan McAuliffe play best friends whose bond is strained. When Woody (McAuliffe) comes across information that his girlfriend has been cheating on him with his buddy Colin (Sprouse), decides to challenge him to a duel.
The film, written and directed by Matthews and Robert in their feature directorial debut, depicts two friends who lead their group to the other side of the border to a manor house for honor with two more friends of the pair. It is destined for the group to face their greatest challenges on the fateful day, and this strains their bonds of friendship.


The cast features Denny Love, Hart Denton, María Gabriela De Faria, Rachel Matthews, Christian McGaffney, Ronald Guttman, and Patrick Warburton, and The Duel is set to be a hilarious and heartfelt journey of friendship and the price of treason.
After the success of “The Duel” at the 2023 Mammoth Film Festival, more performances followed in other film festivals including comedy drama influences. The film is scheduled to be shown across the country in theaters only once on July 31st, 2024 before appearing on VOD the following summer.
