Throughout production of Skyfall, the latest 007 adventure, director Sam Mendes will be providing videoblogs to give fans a glimpse of James Bond in his latest adventure.
The clip is mostly composed of an interview with Mendes expressing his interest and longtime admiration of the Bond series, along with brief scenes from the actual movie with the suave MI6 agent with a License to Kill.
The American Beauty helmer says in the video:
The roots of me doing this Bond movie start way before anybody approached me because I like everybody else have my own personal relationship with Bond, which began when I suppose when I was 9 or 10 years old.
Oscar-winner Mendes also says some nice things about Daniel Craig and gives us a tease of the locations he’s been shooting in England:
It is still possible to make a big, fabulous, glamorous, escapist movie and yet – at the same time, to say something about the world we’re living in.
Skyfall hits Europe on October 26th 2012 and arrives in the U.S. on November 9th 2012.
