Are we all interested in The Maze Runner because we know that Dylan O'Brien stars in it, or because we actually think this movie has a chance? After all, it's yet another sci-fi mystery aka drama aka thriller aka I have no idea what the hell this film is about. Anyway, we have 6 new images from the whole thing to share today, and although I'm not impressed – I still recommend you to take a look. Fair enough!
Wes Ball directs the movie from a script written by James Dashner, based on a 2009 book of same name by James Dashner.
The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world, and revolves around young guy named Thomas (played by O' Brien) who is deposited in a community of boys after his memory is erased.
They have no memories of the outside world and are all trapped in a maze, so quite logically – those fellow runners decide to join forces for a shot at escape…

Thomas wakes up in the lift and the only thing he can remember is his first name. His memory is blank. But he's not alone. When the lift's doors open, Thomas finds himself surrounded by kids who welcome him to the Glade: a large, open expanse surrounded by stone walls. The Gladers don't know why or how they got to the Glade. All they know is that every morning the stone doors to the maze that surrounds them have opened. Every night they've closed tight. And every thirty days a new boy has been delivered in the lift. Thomas was expected. But the next day, a girl is sent up – the first girl to ever arrive in the Glade. And more surprising yet is the message she delivers. Thomas might be more important than he could ever guess. If only he could unlock the dark secrets buried within his mind.
