Now that 20th Century Fox has sent over a new photo from their upcoming comedy
The Three Stooges here's a reminder trailer for the
Farrelly Brothers' movie.
In the very lengthy development of this project, Benicio del Toro, Sean Penn and Jim Carrey were attached to star in this film. But we learned that
Will Sasso, Sean Hayes, and
Chris Diamantopoulos star as Curly, Moe, and Larry, doing the eye-poking, ‘Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk' routine and telling really lame iPhone jokes in the new feature, divided into three segments.
The film, in which the trio trying to save their childhood orphanage, also stars
Jane Lynch, Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Hudson, and
Larry David.
The only question is could this big-screen revamp of the 1930s comic ever work in the present day?
The film is slated for theatrical release in the U.S. on April 13th, 2012.
