Today we have a new poster for The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. In the upcoming film based on a short story by James Thurber, Ben Stiller, who also directed, plays Walter Mitty, an office drone with his head in the clouds.
Mitty lives out various adventures through his frequent daydreams but has to leave his dreams behind once adventure beckons in the real world.
Joining Stiller are Kristen Wiig, Patton Oswalt, Shirley MacLaine, Adam Scott, Kathryn Hahn and Sean Penn.
The Secret Life of Walter Mitty comes to theaters December 25th, 2013 but first, it will premiere at the New York Film Festival on October 5th.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is based on James Thurber’s classic story of a day-dreamer who escapes his anonymous life by disappearing into a world of fantasies filled with heroism, romance and action. When his job along with that of his co-worker (Wiig) are threatened, Walter takes action in the real world embarking on a global journey that turns into an adventure more extraordinary than anything he could have ever imagined.
