You get yourself a nice suit, a fancy cigar, and you think your butt can seat in Hitchcock’s chair.
I don’t want to be rude but, really, he looks like everyone else but Alfred Hitchcock in The Girl. And when you know that the other movie, simple titled Hitchcock, has Anthony Hopkins as the great filmmaker things look even worse.
But hey, The Girl has Sienna Miller as Tippi Hedren and she should be the real star in this one and she definitely looks amazing as Hedren.
So, we’re talking about the Julian Jarrold-directed movie which definitely worth your attention!
I’m sure you all remember our previous chat about the film which chronicles the director’s obsessive relationship with The Birds and Marnie actress Tippi Hedren, so you also know that Gwyneth Hughes is responsible for this weird story that will show us a different side of the legendary director.
The rest of the cast includes Penelope Wilton as Peggy Robertson, Imelda Staunton as Alma Hitchcock, Sean Cameron Michael as Robert Burks and Candice D’Arcy as Josephine Milton.
