We guess you’re in the mood for some casting news, so here we go!
An indie comedy titled Bobby Blue Sky is coming and Topher Grace, and Kristen Wiig are reportedly set to star in it.
Not a bad choice for something that’s already being described as a story that focuses:
“…on three dysfunctional siblings. The youngest brother found sudden fame as a character in his father’s children’s book and the film centers on how the incident has warped their lives.”
Bobby Blue Sky was written by Emily Kapnek, a TV writer/producer for NBC’s “Parks and Recreation” and HBO’s “Hung”.
Let us remind you that Topher Grace will next be seen in Kids in America as well as in the spy-thriller The Double alongside Richard Gere.
On the other hand, Paul Rudd will be seen in theaters in James L. Brooks’ How Do You Know and is currently at work on the comedy My Idiot Brother while Wiig will be seen next year in the sci-fi comedy Paul and Bridesmaids.
At this moment, that’s basically everything we know about this project.
No production schedule was given for the film and it wasn’t said if a director was attached to the project or not.
With every new info about Bobby Blue Sky, we’ll be back!
