The first teaser poster for the upcoming Dreamworks’ computer-animated film Turbo has hit the Internet. The film features an ordinary garden snail whose dreams to become the fastest snail in the world becomes true.
David Soren (Merry Madagascar) is directing form a script he co-wrote with Darren Lemke (Shrek Forever After). Monsters vs. Aliens‘ Lisa Stewart is producing, and Ryan Reynolds has been tapped to star as the slimy hero.
Plot summary:
Turbo tells the story of an ordinary garden snail with an impossible dream: to become the fastest snail in the world. When a freak accident gives him extraordinary speed, Turbo sets out to try to make this dream come true.
Turbo will be released to theaters on July 17th, 2013.
