Watch: US Trailer For Ron Howard’s RUSH
Just a couple of days after the UK trailer from the Formula 1 racing drama titled Rush hit the web, we now get the US trailer which plays much better the individual character struggles in addition to Ron Howard's impressive visuals.
Universal obviously realizes that racing films need a bit of a harder push than other genres to get more attention.
While the international spot had more action, domestic one rather focuses on the dramatic elements mixed with some rubber-burning tension.
The film stars Chris Hemsworth as a playboy-esque Englishman James Hunt and Daniel Brühl as the disciplined Austrian perfectionist Niki Lauda, whose clashes on the Grand Prix racetrack symbolized the contrast between these two unusual characters, a distinction reflected in their private lives.
Olivia Wilde stars as Hemsworth character's wife, while Natalie Dormer stars as Bruhl's.
Alexandra Maria Lara, Stephen Mangan, Christian McKay, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Jamie de Courcey and Pierfrancesco Favino co-star.
Penned by Peter Morgan, Rush opens in theaters on September 20th, 2013.
