The Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Texas has been used for the film that apparently involves live music with
Terrence Malick and his crew on hand to shoot scenes around the concert stages.
A rumor has persisted for several months that ‘The Untitled Terrence Malick Project' is about a love triangle, set to the backdrop of Austin's music scene, and will be called Lawless and just last month Malick was at Austin City Limits, camera in hand, filming scenes with
Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara, Michael Fassbender and
Christian Bale.
Just last Friday
Val Kilmer was added to the mix and behaved onstage a bit like Jim Morrison. Also on set were Mara and Fassbender, who looked very much in love as they kissed for the cameras.
The untitled film which Malick will reportedly be editing with Knight of Cups simultaneously, also stars
Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, Benicio Del Toro, The Lizardman, Holly Hunter and Skyfall Bond girl
Berenice Marlohe will also join the cast.
