We previously had
a little chat about the upcoming romantic comedy titled
Walk Of Shame, so you know that
Elizabeth Banks,
James Marsden,
Willie Garson and
Ethan Suplee are already on board for the whole thing. Today comes the word that
Gillian Jacobs, probably best known from NBC's
Community, is about to join them as well!
Walk Of Shame comes from writer/director
Steven Brill, and will center on Banks' character, a high-strung news anchor who, after a wild night out, finds herself locked out on the street with no phone, money, ID or car. She then embarks on a series of misadventures as she finds her way to the most important job interview of her life.
Jacobs, who recently starred in
Seeking a Friend at the End of the World, comes on board to play the best friend of Banks' character.
Lakeshore's Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi will produce alongside Sidney Kimmel, while FilmDistrict will distribute the movie in the U.S.
In case you're Jacobs' fans, let us remind you that she will also star with Jim Carrey, Steve Carell and Olivia Wilde in the upcoming magician comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.
