I really enjoyed watching this video, and I said to myself: what the hell, maybe someone out there will find this interesting as well! So here I am to remind you that Warm Bodies movie opens this February, which means that we’ll soon have a chance to watch Nicholas Hoult as an unusual romantic zombie named R. I totally hated the first poster for the movie, but I still think that Hoult looks hot. What about you girls? Would you like your guy to look like R? What are you waiting for then, make him appear more alive and less dead!
But, step by step, please! Let me first remind you that this project comes from director Jonathan Levine and is actually an adaptation of Isaac Marion‘s debut novel of the same name. Warm Bodies is some strange mix of horror and romance and is set to open on February 1st, 2013.
Beside Hoult, it also stars Teresa Palmer, Rob Corddry, John Malkovich, Analeigh Tipton, Dave Franco and Cory Hardrict.
Hoult stars as zombie named R, who shuffles through an America destroyed by war, social collapse, and the mindless hunger of his undead comrades, but he craves something more than blood and brains. He can speak just a few grunted syllables, but his inner life is deep, full of wonder and longing. He has no memories, no identity, and no pulse, but he has dreams. In other words, he looks like this:
After experiencing a teenage boy’s memories while consuming his brain, R makes an unexpected choice that begins a tense, awkward, and strangely sweet relationship with the victim’s human girlfriend. Julie, played by Palmer, is a blast of color in the dreary and gray landscape that surrounds R. His decision to protect her will transform not only R but also his fellow Dead, and perhaps their whole lifeless world.
One thing is for sure – R is definitely an interesting character. Cold body – warm heart, indeed! Especially when we have a cute guy like Hoult playing him. And if you check out this cool video, you’ll see that every single guy in the world can look like him in just 6 minutes!
This girl (unfortunately I don’t know her name) sure knows how to deal with zombies, and she has a great advice for you – don’t discriminate zombies, they need love, too!
