Watch: First Trailer For Crime Thriller WELCOME TO THE PUNCH
The first trailer for the upcoming British crime thriller Welcome to the Punch has landed online.
Eran Creevy‘s film casts James McAvoy and Mark Strong as a cop and his nemesis at odds with one another. This also includes the likes of Andrea Riseborough, David Morrissey, Peter Mullan and Daniel Mays.
The story follows Jacob Sternwood (Strong), a former criminal forced to return to London from his Icelandic hideaway to rescue his son shot in a heist gone wrong from the hospital. This gives detective Max Lewinsky (McAvoy) one last chance to take down the man he has always been after. As they face off, McAvoy begins to discover that perhaps he’s after the wrong man.
Welcome to the Punch hits the UK theaters on March 15th, 2013 and will be released sometime stateside by IFC.
