WATCH: James McAvoy & Andrea Riseborough In a New Clip From WELCOME TO THE PUNCH!
We already shared the first trailer and some pretty cool images from the upcoming crime thriller Welcome To the Punch. Directed by Eran Creevy, and starring James McAvoy and Mark Strong in the leading roles, the movie will tell us the story of two arch-nemeses: detective Max Lewinsky and master criminal Jacob Sternwood. Hope you’re ready to hear that story, ’cause the movie opens next month!
Written and directed by Creevy, the film stars Mark Strong as a former criminal named Jacob Sternwood who is forced to return to London from his Icelandic hideaway when his son is involved in a heist gone wrong.

That’s exactly what detective Max Lewinsky, played by James McAvoy, wants – one last chance to catch the man he has always been after.
But as they face off, they start to uncover a deeper conspiracy they both need to solve in order to survive.
The rest of the cast includes Andrea Riseborough, Elyes Gabel, David Morrissey, Peter Mullan, and Daniel Mays, and as we said – Welcome To The Punch is set to hit limited theaters on March 27th, 2013.
