IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE Recut In The Style Of THE WOLF OF WALL STREET
With the recent buzz of a sequel to Frank Capra’s classic 1946 film It’s a Wonderful Life which will be blocked by Paramount (held the rights to the film’s source material), the original still has been given a 21st century makeover in this spot-on video mashup, which cuts it in the style of the upcoming Martin Scorsese movie, The Wolf of Wall Street.
The latest entry to recutting trailers collection now comes from a comedian, writer, actor, filmmaker and semi-pro rock skipper Owen Weber who pays taxes in Chicago. Weber has dubbed the smart and funny mashup, humorously, ‘The Wolf of Bedford Falls,’ which depicts Jimmy Stewart‘s hero as a corrupt sellout to evil banker Mr. Potter.
If you never thought you’d see Stewart edited to Kanye West, well, here’s your chance.
It’s Black Friday! Here’s your no-hold-barred gift.
And here’s the Wolf of Wall Street (opens December 25th) trailer for comparison.
