Zack Snyder revealed in a new interview that, should his Man of Steel take off, it’s likely that Warner Bros. will greenlight a Justice League movie with him as director.
Snyder grabbed the opportunity to express excitement over the notion of creating a cinematic DC world:
I have a hard time having perspective. But I have to say that it is everything that I could have hoped for. Touch wood that I am not insane, but it feels really good.
According to director Ruben Fleischer (Gangster Squad), Warner Bros. is going to be doing just that. Fleischer denied the rumors of him being on the shortlist to direct Justice League, stating:
(T)hat’s something that Zack Snyder is going to wind up doing.
If it’s true what they say, we’ll probably have to wait until after Man of Steel‘s release date to find out where Warner Bros. is taking Justice League.
The pre-release buzz for Man of Steel has all been very positive thus far.
Another rumor said Man of Steel writer David Goyer will put his head together with Snyder and see what Justice League ideas they can come up with and the studio will see where to go from there.
Will they or won’t they?
