Jim Sheridan’s “Brothers” Trailer
The first trailer for Jim Sheridan’s new movie “Brothers” has finally showed up even though it’s already showing in theaters in front of “Public Enemies.”
Oscar nominated filmmaker Jim Sheridan (”In America,” “My Left Foot,” “In the Name of the Father,” “The Boxer,” “Get Rich or Die Tryin’”) directed the movie from the script written by David Benioff.
Actually “Brothers” is a U.S. remake of Susanne Bier’s 2004 Danish film, “Brodre” a film that won and was nominated for several international awards both for the film itself and performances from Connie Nielsen and Ulrich Thomsen.
A young man Tommy (Jake Gyllenhaal) comforts his older brother’s wife Grace (Natalie Portman) and children after her husband (Tobey Maguire) goes missing in Afghanistan. While the two are still dealing with the intricate situation, Sam (Tobey Maguire) returns home. Carrying the heavy weight of post traumatic stress disorder, he starts suspecting that something happened between his wife and brother when he was away.
“Brothers” stars Tobey Maguire, Jake Gyllenhaal, Natalie Portman, Ray Prewitt and will be released on December 4th, 2009.

The second trailer for “Carriers” is now online.
Plot summary: Four friends fleeing a viral pandemic on their way to a secluded beach in Mexico soon learn they are more dangerous than any virus.
“Carriers” is directed by two Spanish brothers Alex and David Pastor. The film stars Chris Pine, Lou Taylor Pucci, Piper Perabo and Emily VanCamp.
The new horror film has been in the works for the last three years. Paramount is finally releasing it in limited theaters starting on September 4th.
New “Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs” Trailer
In addition to the new trailer for “Planet 51,” Sony Pictures has debuted the second full trailer for 3D animated “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs,” follow-up to “Surf’s Up” from a few years ago, which is is co-directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
The screenplay co-written by both Lord and Miller is inspired by the children’s book, written by author Judi Barrett and illustrated by Ron Barrett, of the same name.
“Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” is about Flint Lockwood, an inventor, who tries to solve the world hunger problem and invents the ability to turn water into food, causing it to rain food all day long.
“Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs,” voiced by Bill Hader, Anna Faris, James Caan, Bruce Campbell, Andy Samberg, Mr T and Tracy Morgan is set for US release on September 18, 2009.

A full-length trailer for the upcoming sci-fi animated film “Planet 51” has been released.
Planet 51 plot summary: American astronaut Captain Charles “Chuck” Baker, lands on Planet 51 thinking he’s the first person to step foot on it. To his surprise, he finds that this planet is inhabited by little green people who are happily living in a white picket fence world reminiscent of a cheerfully innocent 1950s America, and whose only fear is that it will be overrun by alien invaders–like Chuck! With the help of his robot companion “Rover” and his new friend Lem, Chuck must navigate his way through the dazzling, but bewildering, landscape of Planet 51 in order to escape becoming a permanent part of the Planet 51 Alien Invaders Space Museum.

Couples Retreat Trailer and Poster
The trailer for director Peter Billingsley’s “Couples Retreat,” the latest comedy has just gone online over at Apple. The new poster has also arrived online and you can check them both out below.
Vince Vaughn, Jason Bateman, Jon Favreau, Malin Akerman, Kristin Davis, Kristen Bell and Faizon Love star in Universal Pictures’ upcoming comedy “Couples Retreat.” Based on an original idea of Vaughn’s, the comedy follows four Midwestern couples who embark on a journey to a tropical island resort. While one of the couples is there to work on their marriage, the other three set out to jet ski, spa and enjoy some fun in the sun. They soon discover that participation in the resort’s couples therapy is not optional. Suddenly, their group-rate vacation comes at a price. What follows is a hilarious look at real world problems faced by all couples. The film also stars Kali Hawk and Jean Reno.
The screenplay is writen by “Iron Man” helmer Jon Favreau.
Alvin And The Chipmunks 2 Trailer
A new teaser trailer for the upcoming “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel” has appeared online.
David Seville and chipmunks Alvin, Simon and Theodore, return in the sequel to lay waste to Seville’s surroundings and sing in three-part harmony. The sequel movie introduce the Chipmunks’ female counterparts, the Chipettes.
Betty Thomas (Doctor Dolittle, John Tucker Must Die) is directing “Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakuel”. Characters will be voiced by Jason Lee, Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Anna Faris, Christina Applegate, Amy Poehler
The film will hit theaters on December 25th, 2009.
