First THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Teaser Poster

Here’s the first teaser poster for the upcoming Marc Webb directed The Amazing Spider-Man, just in case you’re interested in even more superhero reboots!

And what’s definitely good about the whole thing is that I actually like it! On the other hand – guys from Sony are promising us the untold story, so what the hell – I’ll give this project a try!

Webb is directing The Amazing Spider-Man from a screenplay co-written by Alvin Sargent, Steve Kloves and James Vanderbilt but do not expect to find out more about the plot because that’s a mystery at this moment although there are some rumors that Webb’s vision differs in tone from Sam Raimi’s trilogy, opting for a darker mood.

Still, the movie has quite good cast on board. As you probably know (and see from the poster) Andrew Garfield plays Peter Parker aka Spider-Man, Emma Stone plays Gwen Stacy, Rhys Ifans is Dr. Connors, Martin Sheen is Uncle Ben Parker, Sally Field is Aunt May and Denis Leary is on board to play George Stacy.

The Amazing Spider-Man opens in 3D on July 3rd, 2012.
