French Oliver Stone’s “W” Poster
A French poster for the upcoming Oliver Stone’s George W Bush biopic, “W” has been released.
Whether you love him or hate him, there is no question that George W. Bush is one of the most controversial public figures in recent memory. In an unprecedented undertaking, acclaimed director Oliver Stone is bringing the life of our 43rd President to the big screen as only he can. “W” takes viewers through Bush’s eventful life — his struggles and triumphs, how he found both his wife and his faith, and of course the critical days leading up to Bush’s decision to invade Iraq.
The film that is due out in theatres on October 17th stars Josh Brolin, Elizabeth Banks, Richard Dreyfuss, James Cromwell, Ellen Burstyn, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Scott Glenn, Ioan Gruffudd, and Jesse Bradford.
Actors lined up to play Blair, Bush, Rice in Stone’s ‘W’
The Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd is tipped to be cast as Tony Blair in a forthcoming Oliver Stone biopic on the life of George Bush.
Thandie Newton, who was born in Zambia and raised in England, will play Condoleezza Rice in the Stone movie, W, which is due to start filming on 21 April.
Josh Brolin, who starred in No Country For Old Men will play Bush in the film, which ranges from his early relationship with his father, through the 1990-91 Gulf War to his own presidency.
Laura Bush will be played by Elizabeth Banks, star of The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
