MAMA Mama, an upcoming supernatural thriller, or horror, (or whatever) should go with a little warning: this looks great! Today we have something awesome to share with you – full short movie by Andres Muschietti, that inspired Guillermo del Toro and his team to come on board and produce the movie which is (finally) set to open next month! In other words – something you must watch, so… what are you waiting for? MAMA Image 01 So, as we previously reported, Andres Muschietti directed the whole thing from a script which he co-wrote with Neil Cross and Barbara Muschietti which tells the haunting tale of two little girls who disappeared into the woods the day that their parents were killed. [jwplayer mediaid=”130123″] Jessica Chastain, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Megan Charpentier, Isabelle Nellsse all star in Mama, which is set to open on January 18th, 2013. [jwplayer mediaid=”130124″]
Five years ago, sisters Victoria and Lilly vanished from their suburban neighborhood without a trace. Since then, their Uncle Lucas and his girlfriend, Annabel, have been madly searching for them. But when, incredibly, the kids are found alive in a decrepit cabin, the couple wonders if the girls are the only guests they have welcomed into their home. As Annabel tries to introduce the children to a normal life, she grows convinced of an evil presence in their house. Are the sisters experiencing traumatic stress, or is a ghost coming to visit them? How did the broken girls survive those years all alone? As she answers these disturbing questions, the new mother will find that the whispers she hears at bedtime are coming from the lips of a deadly presence.
[jwplayer mediaid=”130125″] So, great or what? Let us know what you think, and stay tuned! MAMA Image 02
