The New Trailer for Walter Salles ON THE ROAD Looks Alive

Nick Martin September 3, 2012 Add a Comment
OnTheRoad_Still Walter Salles (The Motorcycle Diaries) own take on Jack Kerouac's seminal 1957 novel, On the Road will arrive at Toronto International Film Festival in a new recut and shorter version of the film. Whether this will solve the problems because they fail to portray the adventurer's spirit, the new trailer certainly seems much more lively and upbeat than previous. The cast, generally, is very very good with a variety of big names filling in roles including Viggo Mortensen, Steve Buscemi, Kirsten Dunst, Amy Adams, Terrence Howard, Elisabeth Moss among the others. Garrett Hedlund, Kristen Stewart and Sam Riley are, of course, the central trio that travels the country, fighting, loving and inspiring each other in a variety of undress, engaged in a threesome in the front seat of the car on the open road as well as letting loose in smoke-filled rooms.
