As you already know, Harald Zwart directs the movie from a script written by Jessica Postigo Paquette, based on the first book in The Mortal Instruments book series by Cassandra Clare. It centers on a teenager named Clary Fray, who is unknowingly pulled into an ancient battle to protect our world from demons when her mother mysteriously disappears.
Jemima West plays Isabelle Lightwood in the movie.
Beside Lily Collins who plays Clary Fray and Lena Headey who stars as her mother, the rest of The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones cast includes Jamie Campbell Bower, Jemima West, Robert Sheehan, Kevin Zegers, Kevin Durand, Aidan Turner and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and the movie is set to open on August 23rd, 2013.

Set in contemporary New York City, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray, discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother, Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld, filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures.
