Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett stars as a fashionable New York housewife who moves to San Francisco to live with her sister (Sally Hawkins) after Jasmine's husband (Alec Baldwin) is arrested for fraud, leaving the title blue Jasmine to deal with the economic and emotional aftermath.
Louis C.K., Andrew Dice Clay, Bobby Cannavale and Max Casella play working class stiffs with whom Hawkins' character runs.
Peter Sarsgaard, Charlie Tahan, Alden Ehrenreich, Tammy Blanchard and Michael Stuhlbarg also star in the film, which opens in select theaters starting July 26th, 2013.
