ON THE ROAD Poster: Danny Morgan

On the Road
On the Road Icon Film Distribution has released yet another character poster for director Walter Salles‘ On the Road. This new poster features Danny Morgan as Ed Dunkel. English-language Brazilian-French-UK-US co-production adventure/drama film is an adaptation of the Jack Kerouac novel of the same name. The film is based on the years Kerouac spent travelling the United States in the 1940s with his friend Neal Cassady and several other figures who would go on to fame in their own right, including William S. Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg. Here's the synopsis:
Just after his father's death, Sal Paradise, an aspiring New York writer, meets Dean Moriarty, a devastatingly charming ex-con, married to the very liberated and seductive Marylou. Sal and Dean bond instantly. Determined not to get locked in to a constricted life, the two friends cut their ties and take to the road with Marylou. Thirsting for liberty, the three young people head off in search of the world, of other encounters, and of themselves.
Aside from Danny Morgan, it also stars Viggo Mortensen, Tom Sturridge, Amy Adams, Elizabeth Moss, Kirsten Dunst, Garrett Hedlund, Kristen Stewart, and Alice Braga. On the Road will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival next month but I guess it won't be long before a U.S. distributor pick it up. On the Road Poster
